From Connie Mack to Mr. Oriole -- a Conversation with Dick Armstrong
I was pleased to recently be interviewed by Paul Lukas of ESPN.com about my days with the Philadelphia Athletics and Baltimore Orioles. Paul has a particular interest in writing about sports teams' uniforms, logos, and mascots, and so wanted to learn more about my involvement in creating the Orioles' first logo and mascot, "Mr. Oriole." Click here to read the interview.
Welcome! I hope you find these reflections on faith and life interesting, useful, and perhaps at times challenging. I use both prose and poetry to cover a wide variety of topics, including political and other contemporary issues. Your constructive comments are appreciated, and if you like a particular article or poem, I'd be immensely grateful if you'd let me know by clicking on "Like." Richard Stoll Armstrong
